Performed in the Kabuki-za Theater and the National Theater of Japan as a Kabuki actor. Served as a teacher for touring performances at schools sponsored by the Agency of Cultural Affairs after changing the careers to become a Japanese dancer. Involved in many projects for children to promote Japanese dance.
Performed on stage organized by NIHONBUYO Association, National Theatre of Japan, NHK’s “Geino Kiwami-do” and others.

Hanayagi Jusahomi
Graduated from the Department of Traditional Japanese Dance at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Performed on stages organised by the National Theatre of Japan, the NIHONBUYO Association and Kabuki performances organised by Shochiku, among others. Organises and teaches the Japanese children’s dance school “Traditional Performing Arts Academy Setagaya Keya-Kids”, where she shares the fascination of traditional performing arts with children.

Wakayagi Kyoko
Studied traditional Japanese dance (Nihon buyo) from an early age. Studied under Kimiko Wakayagi of the Wakayagi method since 2010. Performed on the stage of NIHONBUYO Association, National Theatre of Japan, Kabuki performances, NHK historical dramas, “Geino Kiwami-do” and other media. Member of “Wakaki no Kai,” a group of trainees of the Wakayagi method school, and is also an instructor for the “Budding Stars Project: Children’s Japanese Dance’, established to promote Japanese dance.
